| Description: | THE FRIENDS  FRIENDS OF THE RBL BAND OF WALES Following the formation of the Band and registration with The Royal British Legion. The conditions of the licence stated that the Band culd not use Royal British Legion funds or insurances to support its activities. We therefore decided to form our own chairty to support not only the Band but wind music in general. Our charity objectives are: 'To improve and advance the education of the public through financial support for the practice and performance of wind band music. By representing and furthering the interests of the wind band sector in Wales comprising of supporting all those activities that are associated with wind bands through financial grants by any means as the trustees see fit'. We are continuously looking for volunteers to join us as 'Friends' to support the Band andand other activities we become involved with.
