Mental Wellbeing through a Guitar

Far too many of our military veterans are affected by post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or suffer with mental health, brought on by life during, before, or after service.

Yet many are finding hope in an unlikely place; behind the wood and strings of an acoustic guitar. The healing power of music helps people to cope, that is why we provide them with guitars and a forum to learn how to play. A wellbeing answer for whatever, or whenever life throws up its challenges!

Read on to find out a little more about what  we offer and how we can help those who served rediscover peace through the power of music.

Can't play guitar but always wanted to learn?

Served at least 24 hours in Military service?

Do you have an ongoing mental wellbeing diagnosis?

Then this programme is for you!

We will give you an acoustic guitar to practice on freem loan for the duration of the programme. You will also receive twenty-four professional lessons with a group of fellow veterans. Once you complete the programme, and complete a Grade 1 pass, we will give you a brand new guitar to take away and continue your musical journey.
