The Charity Friends of TRBLBOW was formed in October 2018 and registered with the UK Charity Commission in April 2019.
The Charity aims to maintain, improve and advance the education of the public through financial support for the practice and performance of wind band music; By representing and furthering the interests of the wind band sector in Wales comprising of supporting all those activities that are associated with wind bands through financial grants; by any means the trustees see fit.
It also aims to Implement the project ‘Guitars for Veterans (Wales) in affiliation with Guitars for Veterans (US) and Guitars for Veterans (Aus) throughout Wales. To provide the opportunity for service veterans with mental illnesses to find the healing power of music by supplying loan instruments and lessons free of charge to the beneficiary.
The Charity raises funding through various schemes. Primary fundraising is by application for grant funding from other charitable or government bodies and organisations. Its volunteers also raise money through donation and fundraising activities.
All our rehearsals are open to the public and to potential new members, so why not pay us a visit.
We rehearse every ?????day evening at 7pm, at Bigtown Hall, 148 High St, Bigtown, SA.
